Mezzo's solid bass foundation built upon the success that was the Major's dynamic driver. The 10mm unit is integrated into FAudio's patented Triple Built-In Acoustic Chamber (TBAC), which controls airflow thanks to three special cavities.

A crossover hands over to Mezzo's balanced armature for mids and highs – the latter supplemented by a piezoelectric tweeter wrought from a crystal coupled to a diaphragm capable of producing very fast vibrations demanded of treble extending beyond the human hearing region.

Mezzo's final trick is a balanced armature tagged to an all-pass filter to back each driver up at their crossover points. No matter how steep a crossover slope is – particularly when switches are active – phase is preserved by the flat frequency response of this unifying balanced armature.
