This is the big name in the world of IEMs, and big names have big shoes to fill when you bear the suffix of -MK II. Empire Ear's Odin took Singapore by storm and the people who came to challenge the meaning of drivers lost, but took a piece of Odin with them. 

In Empire's words, "ODIN MKII is a powerful fusion of myth, engineering, and sonic transcendence" and approaches the trinity of clarity, depth and immersion under the lead of Dean Vang, Chief Engineer and Founder. With measuring equipment in place and pre-established curves to distract or tempt engineers from following their personal approach, Dean Vang stood firm with this artistry over winning the internet. Dean talks about his work with passion and reminds us that good sound has always been intended as homage to music. 



Five years after the first version, Odin Mk II now features a state-of-the-art 11-driver quad-brid configuration.

KVASIR - The Cable of Poets

Named for Kvasir—the being born of the combined wisdom of the Aesir and Vanir—this cable channels the very spirit of inspiration. In myth, Kvasir’s blood became the fabled Mead of Poetry, bestowing creativity and insight upon all who tasted it. Our KVASIR cable mirrors that legacy: four strands of gold, silver, and copper conductors are intricately braided in a wholly unique quadbrid geometry, delivering each musical detail as if whispered by the gods themselves.

The matte black hardware and subtly etched Valknut on the Y-splitter echo ancient runic art, while the 2-pin barrels and 4.4 mm termination bear a discreet “EMPIRE” signature—a reminder that true artistry flows from the subtlest details.

Kvasir is a custom built cable personally designed and tuned by our chief engineer, Dean Vang.

Dual Conduction Architecture (DCA)

Empire’s proprietary DCA channels energy through both air and bone conduction pathways simultaneously. By harmonizing these routes, ODIN MKII delivers sonic realism that’s not merely heard—but felt—immersing you fully in every performance.

ARC – Anti-Resonance Control

To preserve purity of performance, ODIN MKII incorporates ARC, a proprietary anti-resonance coating applied to critical internal components and acoustic pathways. This ensures a darker background, tighter transients, and minimal structural coloration—letting the music’s true character shine.

synX Crossover Network

At the core of ODIN MKII’s unity is our 10-way synX crossover network. It seamlessly blends four distinct driver technologies across eleven drivers, preserving timing, phase, and dynamics so each transducer performs at its absolute peak without compromise.
