A grey wall was constructed, a door was placed. A triangular space that’s a cafe and an audio store emerged quietly amidst the flashing LED signs and clutter of Sim Lim Square in Singapore. The lights came on, the coffee started brewing, and people stayed to talk, to listen to earphones, headphones. It was a queer beginning, but we loved it. It was our oasis.

The Zepp Story

Do you ship outside Singapore? I can’t seem to check out.

We would love to, but we chose to respect brand policies. There are certain brands that restrict sales to Singapore only, hence we’ve locked our online audio store to keep it domestic. However, do contact ushere, or drop us a WhatsApp at +65 93379655, and let us know which item(s) you are looking to purchase. We will be in touch with the next steps.

Please also take time to read this about warranty and service coverage outside Singapore before we ship to you.

• There will be no charge(s) for services and repairs if the item(s) are within the warranty period and terms.
• You’ll just have to cover the shipping costs to and from Singapore. We will take care of shipping costs to and from the manufacturer/ service centre.

Do you have a refund/return policy?

Unfortunately, we do not yet have a return / refund policy. We also don't sell returned products as new.

We strongly encourage testing the product in our audio store before making a purchase. Once the purchase is complete, the crew will not be obliged to exchange, return, or refund due to a change of mind or for any other reason.

*** Made-to-order products are strictly non-refundable.

Extended wait times due to customs clearance, manufacturer's or distributor’s fulfillment schedules that are unforeseen will not be granted refunds.

How long is the warranty period?

Warranty coverage depends on the brand or distributor's policy. Standard warranty coverage typically ranges between one to two years. All manufacturing defects are covered and all wear and tear or misuse is excluded from the policy.

Examples of inclusions due to manufacturing defects:
1. One side of your earphone / headphone stops working. Item otherwise in good condition.
2. Bluetooth stopped working.
3. Battery stopped charging.

Examples of exclusions due to user-induced defect:
1. Pet chewed on my cable.
2. Cable got caught in door, I pulled, and it broke.
3. Dropped non-IPX rated item in water

Why can’t I plug certain headphones directly into my phone?

While many wireless and wired headphones are designed to work seamlessly with mobile devices, certain high-quality headphones are not. 

The most important distinction is this: Imagine your mobile phone. It is meant to do many things, including having wifi, receiving calls, usage of many apps, etc. All these are non-audio related, and these signals cause a large amount of distortion for your audio, as only a very micro small IC chip is dedicated to playing audio in the phone. Hence, the result is the audio you hear, is often distorted, and of low quality since it was never a dedicated device to produce high quality playback. 

Another important reason is primarily due to a technical term called impedance, which essentially measures the electrical resistance of the headphone. Secondly, there is also the need for much higher current. This is the “juice” that will allow the headphones or earphones to feed enough voltage through, which you understand as the sound being fed through.

High-end, audiophile-grade headphones often have a higher impedance, requiring more power to drive them effectively than what a standard smartphone can deliver. Plugging them directly into your phone will likely result in low volume and a significant loss in sound quality, preventing you from experiencing their true potential.

To properly power these headphones and unlock their full performance, you need a dedicated headphone amplifier or a high-quality DAC (Digital-to-Analog Converter) and amplifier combination. We do not currently offer a home-loan programme. We are also allowed to purchase only one demo for the audio store, and need that to be available for customers who visit us.
