In its most basic function, iFi Audio's newest Bluetooth gizmo receives your stream in either LDAC or Qualcomm's newest codec aptX Lossless, before decoding that via a separate ESS Technology DAC and outputting via 4.4mm line-output that can feed an amplifier with balanced inputs.

But, change ZEN Blue 3 to accept analog line-inputs from your turntable, or USB or S/PDIF in. Then proceed to switch modes to 'Transmitter', and enjoy as the ADC within spits out data to your nearest Bluetooth devices!

It's a fantastic way to enjoy the sound of vinyl on your wireless devices, for example. And while you may not use all the features now, never say never when ZEN Blue 3's has got you covered in the future.
