More than a science project comes to life. From the creators of AKG's legendary K1000 dynamic earspeakers is the realisation of the dreams of two acoustic engineers: MYSPHERE 3.
Heinz Renner and Helmut Ryback teamed up again to bring back the evolution of the legend, using modern materials, testing methods and advancements in the field to arrive in the future with MySphere. As much as drivers contribute to the spectacular sound of this futuristic offering, attention is equally shared with its revolutionary acoustic design.
The suspension frame mounts overhanging drivers in front of your ears for a real speaker-like presentation, never coming into direct contact with your head to avoid sealed enclosures and trapped air standing waves.
Projecting from beyond your ears reduces acoustic impedance to near zero. That produces consistent high-frequencies above 5Khz for all listeners, eliminating one of the biggest irregularities in conventional headphone design.
MySphere's rectangular dynamic drivers selected to project the full-range of the human hearing spectrum from over a centimetre of wearing away are pushed by a state-of-the-art radial magnet array.
This yields unrivalled transparency and detail, with its omnidirectional, fully open acoustic enclosure producing the most natural sound field available. Pick MySphere 3.1 for its low 15ohm impedance that will allow flexibility from portable devices such as Cayin Audio's N6II/E02, C9 or desktop iHA-6, HiBy Music's New R6, and iBasso Audio's DX300.
